What is Personal Brand Photography and Why Do You Need It?

What should I expect from a branding photoshoot, and why should I consider investing in a session? What are the best tips you could offer in preparation for my personal brand shoot? and so on. Have you wondered about these things yourself? […]

An Introduction to Personal Branding for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners

An Introduction to Personal Branding for Entrepreneurs and Business Owners

Working as personal brand photographer over the last couple of years I’ve come across many nuances of this concept. Some people immediately think of a company’s name and logo, some may include the visual elements that form one’s identity (like colours, images, graphics, typography), some think of reputation, market leadership and promised benefits, while others emphasise the mental images, feelings and perceptions that an audience gets from interacting with a brand. Event Photography for Menabrea - Hampton Court Palace Food Festival (Aug 2019)

The ever popular Hampton Court Palace Food Festival returned this August Bank Holiday to entertain and entice its crowds with delicious food and drink offerings, live cooking demonstrations, kids’ activities, great music and a relaxing atmosphere in this amazing venue’s formal gardens.

No wonder the Historic Royal Palaces promised its visitors a ‘feast fit for a king’ - the festival was hosted in the home of one of the most notorious foodies, King Henry VIII. Festival goers were in for a real treat - the former royal residence and its grounds were a delight to explore in the lovely summer sunshine. […]

Event Photography for Honeypot Children's Charity Fundraiser (May 2019)

This year Honeypot embarked on their first darts tournament at the beautiful Fight Club in Victoria, bringing together some of their VIP and corporate supporters for an opportunity to network and raise money for the children supported by the charity.

I was absolutely thrilled to work with such a wonderful organisation as a London event photographer for their recent fundraiser in the city, which proved to be a real success. Guests got to challenge each other and play along actors Steven Mackintosh and Maggie O'Neill, while enjoying a cheerful night out and donating for a great cause: over £8,000 were raised with the help of the sponsors so that 15 new children would receive a full year’s support from the charity. Very recently event photography got an extra layer of special meaning as I provided my services to an institution that's very close to my heart, in a part of the city that I call home - Athena Network West London. The region includes 5 areas: Hammersmith, Chiswick, Shepherds Bush, Barnes and Ealing and it's run by Regional Director Lisa Woodward, the driving force behind LW Consulting.

If it still needs an introduction, the Athena Network is all about helping women to develop stronger skills, more profitable businesses and create growth opportunities for career success. London City Orchestra at Regent Hall - 5th Anniversary Concert (Mar 2018)

Three years on from our first event photography collaboration, I had the pleasure of capturing yet another beautiful event - London City Orchestra's 5th anniversary concert! Led by the very talented conductor Pablo Urbina, the orchestra offered a lovely evening of classical music at Oxford Circus's Regent Hall, right at the heart of central London.

The theme for this year's spring programme was Death and Rebirth, a lovely exploration […]

RCM Sparks Workshop (Sep 2016)

A couple of weeks ago I got the wonderful opportunity to document my first RCM Sparks workshop through event photography. Although familiar with the Royal College of Music's innovative learning and participation programme, being there to capture the magic was a truly inspiring experience.

What makes SPARKS so amazing is that a bunch of dedicated and talented musicians work together with communities to widen participation in music. Young people from different backgrounds get connected through a performing art, under the guidance of the next generation of music educators.

RCM Big Band ft Dave Weckl at Festival of Percussion (Jul 2016)

The RCM Big Band directed by British jazz trumpeter Guy Barker and guest starring legendary drummer Dave Weckl. What a grand finale to an amazing day-long event and a truly unmissable opportunity for my life performance photography!

Hosted in the lovely Britten Theatre just opposite the Royal Albert Hall, the evening concert was a tribute to American jazz drummer Buddy Rich’s best known works. Alongside some world-class talent, young musicians from the Royal College of Music joined forces to close one of my favourite annual events in style - the Festival of Percussion. I just had to attach a photo memento of last nights's brilliant event!

A few weeks back in March I had the pleasure of photographing the young British composer / conductor Richard Miller professionally once again, as part of an exciting mix between lifestyle portraits and event photography.

There is something exciting about the beginning of a new year and new projects, ventures and collaborations. Well 2016 brought just that in the month of January: I got to shoot my first concert at the lovely Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square with the Light of Music Philharmonic Orchestra.

Canary Wharf Spiegeltent Circus (Sep 2015)

What is it about circus that's so mysterious, exciting, euphoria-inducing, scary and somehow poetic at the same time? Is it the after dark performances, is it the characters portrayed, the costumes or the routines? The element of danger, the feeling of naughtiness and pushing boundaries? It might as well be all of these things, collectively casting a spell that's always fascinated my photographic senses. [...]

London City Orchestra at National Musicians' Church - An American in London (Jul 2015)

Musical fireworks on the 4th of July! That's how I would summarize London City Orchestra's concert 'An American in London' from St Sepulchre's Church a few weeks ago. Led by the brilliant and ever passionate conductor Pablo Urbina and with a soloist as talented as Oliver Poole, they put on the ideal performance to celebrate America's most iconic composers and of course, Independence Day!

Down in the heart of the City of London, St Sepulchre's  Church vibrates through faith and music. Also known as National Musicians' Church [...]
