Canary Wharf Jazz Festival (Aug 2015)

Every year mid-August, one of my personal highlights of being around in London - as an event photographer and a music lover - is the Canary Wharf Jazz Festival.

It's the capital’s largest free jazz festival that's bringing together music fans from all different corners of the world, speakers of different languages, reunited by their passion for the genre. Couples, friends, families are out in the sun to enjoy a chilled, relaxed atmosphere and a festival like no other.

This year was no exception, when the annual event returned to Canary Wharf for three days of superb live music. Another fantastic line-up representing a combination of genres such as jazz, funk, Latin, folk, big band, soul and instrumental, took to the stage this past weekend.

World class artists like Peter Edwards Trio, The Filthy Six, ESKA, Edwin Sanz ‘San Agustin’ Salsa Orchestra feat Alex Wilson, Dylan Howe’s Subterraneans, The Fontanelles, The Neil Cowley Trio got the public up on their feet with their jazzy melodies, upbeat tunes and sweet rhythms, and brought sunshine to the masses ☼

Here's my photo story of the weekend.
